Got Me Thinking posts explore the impact of specific concepts, gameplay mechanics, or other features by focusing on one central title that has inspired the subject of discussion and referencing other games to support whatever conclusions or theories I’ve chosen to present.

Still Thinking posts operate closer to a traditional review, though I have no intention of keeping up with new releases, so I often cover games that have been out for a while already and give my own take on them, mixing newer releases in here and there. I never include a score because I don’t believe scores are sufficient summarizations of a game’s quality.

Scattered Thoughts posts are reserved for lists where several games are given their own sections in the context of a broader topic or category. Their highlights will be discussed in a briskier manner.

My goal is simple: I want to explore the nuances of games I play while starting discussions in the gaming community. Why? Because it’s fun to figure out what makes a game tick! Be warned that I cannot promise the total absence of spoilers in my posts if I find it necessary in getting my points across, but I will warn of them in each title. I also play exclusively on a PlayStation 5 but am in no way affiliated with Sony. That just happens to be my console of choice. If there is an expansion in the future for gotmethinkinggames.com, I may explore other consoles. For now, I do what I can with the budget and time that I have.
